If we can man-up, (become more masculine) then surely some women must also be expected to woman-up (become more feminine).
Thus, I allege that any female using the 'man-up' label has secretly realised that they are no longer feminine enough for the average guy to be interested in.
do they not realise then that using these kinds of label, merely highlights their inadequacies of dealing with their nature given gender?

I've always understood the phrase man-up to be generally synonymous with the phrase deal with it.
that's because a man should not act like a woman in the first place.
Not if he's a real man that is.
but vice-versa is surely true.
so why do so many women these days want to act like men?
Because throughout history men were the only ones allowed to do the cool stuff? Women had to sit at home and take care of the house/children while men got to go out and build stuff, fix stuff, fly stuff, drive stuff, drink stuff etc etc.
We're not acting like men, we're finally doing things that WE want to do. You don't get to 'own' all of the fun stuff anymore.
there must be some kind of general principles because men and women are surely different.
Well, I act like me. Kind of hard to explain, I suppose. I act how I feel I should act regardless of what my gender is 'supposed' to act like.
