A history of mental illness, the loss of a dear uncle, and a growing fear of Obama winning a second term in the White House took its toll on the mind of Mr Peterson, a wealthy defense contractor, the friend said. 'He just did not want his kids inheriting this mess,'

Clearly the man has issues but a 2nd term of Obama is scary because it would indicate the country is far gone and has morphed into something different.

After Clinton`s presidency was over we morphed into an aggressive debtor nation. We did indeed become something different.

We started before that if you consider PRIVATE debt which is 80% of the US economy. The public coffers did well during the Clinton administration as the economy was being flushed with private spending, dot-com bubble etc. As those ran out of gas, Bush pushed the housing bubble....

By the time it got later into Bush's terms and of course under Obama, the only trick left was massive govt. spending.

So essentially under Clinton we were just aggressively accumulating a different kind of debt.

Default Republican kills self and family over possbile obama re-election

this is what happens when you get to riled up over stuff you cannot control, you have to accept change and move on...

A Virginia man who killed himself, his wife and his two children allegedly sent increasingly paranoid notes to family and friends, detailing his concerns that President Obama would be re-elected.

According to the London Daily Mail:

Albert Peterson shot dead his wife and two sons hours after going to church because he dreaded the thought of Obama winning the election, a family friend has revealed.
A confidante of the family for the past 25 years has spoken to MailOnline about the strength and grace of the Peterson family, as well as the torment that plagued Albert which drove him to shoot dead his wife Kathleen and his two sons Christopher and Mathew at their suburban home in DC on Sunday.

I'm absolutely POSITIVE that politically-motivated murder-suicides have never been committed by Democrats.

He was obviously already way off-balance, politics may have had a tiny bit to do with it but I'm sure there was much more than that.
