Default media gone from watchdog to lap dog

We didn't need Pat to tell us that!

the greatest tradgedy to befall America in its history, is the abandonment of the media's responsibility as the publics' watchdog to keep the government honest.

This crime is real and the news media should be held legally responsible for their role as propaganda machine for a socialist takeover.

Default Another Democrat defects: Pat Caddell: Media Have Become an “Enemy of the American people”

Pat Caddell: Media Have Become an “Enemy of the American people”

The Audacity of Corruption
I want to talk about this Libyan thing, because we crossed some lines here. It’s not about politics. First of all we’ve had nine day of lies over what happened because they can’t dare say it’s a terrorist attack, and the press won’t push this. Yesterday there was not a single piece in The New York Times over the question of Libya. Twenty American embassies, yesterday, were under attack. None of that is on the national news. None of it is being pressed in the papers. If a President of either party—I don’t care whether it was Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton or George Bush or Ronald Reagan or George H. W. Bush—had a terrorist incident, and got on an airplane after saying something, and flown off to a fundraiser in Las Vegas, they would have been crucified! It would have been—it should have been the equivalent, for Barack Obama, of George Bush’s “flying over Katrina” moment. But nothing was said at all, and nothing will be said.
It is one thing to bias the news, or have a biased view. It is another thing to specifically decide that you will not tell the American people information they have a right to know, and I choose right now.

Default Liberal Media Have Become An "Enemy Of The American People"

First Amendment gave the press protection so they can protect the liberty and freedom of Americans from "obama type governmental power," the press have given up the role of impartial reporters of the truth and are now just the propaganda arm of the democrats and obama.

Pat Caddell: Media Have Become An "Enemy Of The American People"

In recent remarks to an AIM conference, "ObamaNation: A Day of Truth," former Democratic pollster and analyst Pat Caddell said, "I think we're at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy.

Nowhere was this more evident than during the tragic death of a U.S. ambassador in Libya that was lied about for nine days, because the press and the administration did not want to admit it was a terrorist attack.

"We've had nine days of lies over what happened because they can't dare say it's a terrorist attack, and the press won't push this," said Caddell. "Yesterday there was not a single piece in The New York Times over the question of Libya. Twenty American embassies, yesterday, are under attack. None of that is on the national news. None of it is being pressed in the papers."

Caddell added that it is one thing for the news to have a biased view, but "It is another thing to specifically decide that you will not tell the American people information they have a right to know

I continue to be flabbergasted by the Administration's conscious decision to not use the words "terrorism" and "war on terror" to describe what's going on in today's world. It's one of the things that makes one really wonder where the allegiance really lies with this President? Is he for America, or for it's enemies? What's with making sure no one's feelings are hurt, even the terrorists??? Why not call a spade a spade and just be realistic with yourself and your consitituents? These little things add up to make me believe that Barack Obama is not the right person to be in charge of American affairs. I don't believe his heart is truly in the right place in terms of protecting American exceptualism.

And the fact that the media simply will not call him out on these little tidbits is even more dangerous to the American ideal.

But, come on, most liberals tell us that there is not even any bias......

Simply astounding. The things the media and most liberals fear most, is the recent scandals actually getting out to the majority of the public. If that were to happen, Obama would be absolutely toast.

I think the media in general has become the enemy of the American people. They either lean too far right or too far left. I also think that 24 hour "news" coverage is pathetic, since late night and the popular "personality" shows are mostly opinionated entertainment. Who you side with depends on how how much said personality's opinions and views mirror your own.

Had we seen equal outrage from the right over the bungled, lying mishandling of Pat Tillman's death I might believe this was something other than typically biased political BS disguised as actual concern but we didn't and I don't.
