This may be true for my youngest, he isn't interested in leaving. My eldest couldn't wait and has been supporting herself post college for 2 years now but you never know what the future holds. She was home this weekend and told me she really missed being here...::gulp::.

I believe that idea was to borrow money from their mother and I.

Please do us both a favor... no more bright ideas, neither my wife or I are former governors or automobile executives.
What the hell are you talking about?

You didn't say which area you were talking about.. Sorry, I failed mind reading. I started my first small business with a push mower,, a pair of trimming sheers, ( man were those things a pain) and a gas can. It doesn't take a fortune to start a small business, it only takes drive and determination. Of coarse some people think that a small business is a brand name car dealership in Vegas......

Why do I seriously doubt that. Anyway, car dealerships are sooo, 20th century.

Plus I bet he is able to stash away a good-sized savings account by not paying California rent.

My mother has said on more than one occasion that if I ever want to move back in (assuming we live in the same city) she would welcome me with open arms. With my student loans coming due, I am considering this option since I am currently at the low-end of the wage scale here in Washington. Not proud of it, if I have to resort to it, but it is what it us.

I think it's REALLY amusing how people always use this topic to talk about their kids, or their parents, and the irrelevant choices they've made.
