Given the path Obama is pursuing to destroy commerce in the USA, I'm looking for alternatives if he wins again. Actually most every American that I'm working with are doing the same.
When it was obvious Obama would win the last time, I pulled most of my money and investments out of the US and saved and built my wealth tremendously by doing so. I'll pull more out if he wins again and liekly emigrate. The 47% will soon be 60% and all incentive to invest and grow the US economy will be gone. For those happy to see the US destroyed, congrats.
You have a point. I can't think of any country more right wing than this country honestly. Not a modern one anyway. I guess the closest would be Austrailia but they are to the left of the USA.
I don't think there is a country that is more 'right' than the US Dems.
As for US Republicans, I don't see them 'right' anyway, they are just another flavor of the same stuff, they are corporate socialists.
None of you Obama lovers & haters of Liberty and freedom posted anything interesting or compelling so I'll have to do it:
Obamas record:
1) Increased the debt more than the last 6 Presidents combined
2) Highest poverty rate since the 1950's
3) Average American wealth down by 40%....I did much much better becasue I knew what he would do
4) Unemployment the highest since the 1930's
5) Lied about closing Gitmo
6) Lied about getting us out of Afghanistan
7) Average income of Americans down by 15%
Expect a continuation of the decline if he wins. Riddle me this Obamanation nuts, what if anything has he done that helped anyone out?
You still here? I thought you'd be at the airport by now.
Totally agree about Thailand and it's probably at the top of my list. I have 1 friend that moved to Cha Am and another moved to Chiang Mai. I've visitited both of them and really love CM especially. Also BKK is fabulous.
I was watching "House Huneter International" with my wife yesterday, and there was a couple looking for a congo in Thailand (not in Bangkok), and the rents for a one bedroom condo were $1500 per month. That's pretty expensive if you asked me. I was surprised.
What a loyal soul you are Instead of trying to improve things at home, you just leave the ship that is not even sinking...

I'm loyal to my family and friends. I've lived and worked most of the last 10 years in countries outside of the U.S. and I like some things about most of the countries that I've worked and only family draws me back.
For myself, I have the means to live comfortably and mobile in several countries so I'm partially already disconnected from the U.S. But my kids are still there and that's the reason I care what happens there.
Most of you Obamites have no feeling or caring of peoples situations....you just attack and criticize...another reason to leave. Loyalty must be mutual.

Since you're a mistake pointer outer I thought I would return the favor again. Bolded words are incorrect.
Thailand is worth every bit of whatever you have to pay to be there btw.

Well, if you are already living outside the US, the whole question coming from you makes little sense. Most Americans have never lived outside the US...

Was I asking myself the question? That's a rhetorical question. No, I was asking other posters.
