Have you ever stopped to think maybe it's not an act but this is his real self? I mean there are folks who are genuinely happy. Full disclosure I've never watched the show in question so don't know what exactly he did to set you off.

It's bizarre really. I would never have made such a conclusion as the OP. He's basically saying becuase he is happy he is trying to endear himself to Whites.
