We should take our marching orders from the Constitution. No country in the Middle East has attacked us. Keep America safer by protecting our borders instead of other nations borders.

What happens if we have treaties with 2 countries and they start fighting with each other? Our founders warned us about this. Trade with all nations, entangling alliances with none.
When you declare war you name cite the acts of war committed against the US by the nation in question. Recognize war exists because of those acts. Then the President uses the military to end the war. Nothing in the Constitution about being policemen of the world.
We need to stay the hell out of it. It's not America's problem, nor do we have any right to interfere. Nothing going on over there is worth the life of another American serviceman or woman.
