That certainly seems a reasonable conclusion based on the posts made by that poster. I was wondering the same thing myself, why is he working so hard to make good news for the country seem to be bad.

So you call a 5.2% drop in Manufacturing Orders "good" news?

I point this out BECAUSE I care for our Country and the direction it's going in....down the toilet with Obama at the helm screaming full speed ahead.

I call a 7.8% unemployment figure good and going in the right direction. And I think darstar's arguments were far, far more compelling than yours.

You said "because I care for our Country"..........or is it because you don't care for the President?

I don't agree. A nation of part time workers is not where we want to go.

Okay, you disagree.

I think more people working is a good thing. With more people working, even part time jobs, it will result in more full time jobs ultimately because those part time workers will have at least some money to spend. Probably means some people can get off public assistance too.

Could that be because your so drunk on the Obama KoolAid that seeing a DROP in manufacturing as a "good" thing?

You are LYING to yourself then.

I don't care WHO is President, what color he is, or if he was born on Mars......a 5.2% DROP in manufacturing is NOT A GOOD THING.

Of course those unemployment numbers haven't been adjusted yet as they always are either.

The other unemployment number (not the household) remained level and that's the one that is the most accurate.

The rise in people getting MULTIPLE jobs skyrocketed.....which means more people than ever are being forced to get TWO low paying part-time jobs than ever. That also is not a good thing.

Ummm....so you're a mind-reader too. Btw, can't you get at all more creative than the old "KoolAid" thing?

AGAIN, IMO, darstar's arguments about the "decrease" were far more logical and compelling than yours. Maybe you should go back and read his posts. He says that shipping for manufacturing is busy and that the numbers for orders will catch up to the reality on the ground where trucking businesses are enormously busy shipping those products related to manufacturing orders.

So actual FACTS and STATISTICS aren't as compelling as someone's possibly made up anecdotal evidence?

Numbers right from the US government and reported by Reuters?
