If there was such a therapy that could definitively alter sexual orientation from exclusively gay to exclusively straight, do you believe that kind of therapy should be available for those who desire it?

So it's ok to take his personal opinion on this "change", but clearly the millions upon millions of gays who say they've never been able to change their feelings must be wrong? Why, because this guy sides with your views?
How do you know he actually changed? Maybe he's bisexual. Maybe he was able to suppress his feelings. Doesn't change his orientation.
Bet if you hooked him up to a Plethysmograph and showed him various types of pornography it would prove he still has same-sex attractions.
But of course you don't care about actual evidence, only things that support your agenda.

Nope, I go by facts and experience, not the ramblings of one guy on the internet who clearly has internalized homophobia and an agenda to ensure this therapy ban is stopped.

If I was unhappy with my sexual orientation, and I felt as if it didn't suit me, and there was therapy available I would likely seek it. Why be miserable if you believe that your sexual orientation is faulty?
I would like to know if the state of California also plans to discontinue gender dysmorphic therapy for people who believe they were born the wrong gender.
Would make sense if they banned that as well. But of course this is about agenda, so that isn't even likely on the table.

Ironic considering how many of the same people supporting this "therapy" oppose sex-reassignment therapy for people miserable with their physical gender.
I take it you have no problem if the people who undergo this therapy against their will end up committing suicide right? They're gay, so who cares if they off themselves.
