I'm all for it - so long as we can make all allocations optional. I'm sure the administration of tracking everyone's wishes, and the resources our government will need to raise to man this operation is also widely accepted by all. I thought your type was for smaller government? Maybe you prefer Uncle Sam reaching further into your pocket.
So, lets recap where we stand on this issue
1. Sex for 6th graders
2. Abortion as a form of birth control
3. Free birth control courtesy of US taxpayers
4. anti-adoption (what a horrible business to be involved in. How do those people sleep at night)
5. welfare assistance for (parents of) underprivileged children

Well you took my idea and ran it off the charts. I never said anything about raising taxes. But I do think that people should have a say as to what their tax money is spent on. Also, I feel that "your type" is very hypocrytical in this arena. Look at how many rich liberals we have complaining that Romney doesn't pay enough taxes. And Biden out there speaking to black people like he's one of them. Or Warren Buffett saying that he should be taxed more... Hey Warren... Go ahead and donate extra money to the government. Nobody is stopping you!
