Yeah it couldn't be that gooberment employees are willing to lie for whichever party is in power. They are far too ethical for that

That is a very good point. Government employees do not reset at the start of a new administration. Those who make numbers for one president, should do the same of the next.

Unless... SHOCKER... they are part of an even wider government conspiracy.

Well that has to be it. I mean the economy can't improve. That is impossible. What is more likely is that there was a conspiracy within BLS with these career employees to doctor the numbers and get fired. The most amazing thing is that they are able to keep the conspiracy under raps. I mean in Republican reality this is much more likely than the economy actually improving.

So you are on the conspiracy bandwagon against facts as well. Yes, it is so much more likely that career employees were forced to doctor the numbers or get fired. I guess this is another ridiculous conspiracy theorist to overcome reality. I guess you are in the new conspiracy group...the jobbers.

The head of the dept of labor was an obama appointee. Funny how those numbers look so nice right after he has his ass handed to him in a debate. If you call that a conspiracy then so be it. I can read the numbers can you?

Obama didn't lose anything. He just sat back and let the whole nation see what a thug and piece of trash Willard is, not to mention how easily he can lie to the american people.

I think you are taking to many of those qualudes. Either that or you have waaaaay to much time on your hands. To much tv can drive you crazy.

If you think ANY of the news meida is unbiased (or doesn't have an agenda) you are off in left field. The
numbers are scrambled & rescrambled by whoever is telling the story.

Try not to take it to seriously. It's all gonna be over soon.

Good OP. I agree, the GOP has immunized itself against reality with whole media industries that manufacture an alternate reality. Kind of scary, to be honest. We have the finest higher educational system in the world, yet a substantial proportion of our voting population is adamantly opposed to critical thinking in any way, shape, or form.

The fact that they are so politically powerful must mean that the boomers (a large group) have a large proportion of uneducated, incurious, self-absorbed people. Poorly educated white boomers form the body of the modern conservative movement, and I think they will go supernova in the next decade or so. A perfect demographic storm. But it will peak, and ebb. Thank goodness.
