The Repubs think the Dems aren't energized. Polls say the Dems are energized.

The righties are more 'in your face' . The lefties talk on voting day.

Righties are more in your face? I have to disagree with you on that.

This lady might agree with you.

The polls can give you an indication of people's opinions. But, they don't drive the people to the polls. Someone can call a person and they can say they support obama, but they might not vote. Many of my clients love obama but are horribly disappointed in him. They support him, but say they don't know if they can actually bring themselves to vote for him. obama's going to have to drive folks to the polls himself if he wants them to vote.

I really hate to let the wind out of your sails, but by this time in 08, there were Obama/Biden bumper stickers everywhere. There were yard signs out on every block. I travel all over the country. Did then and do now. It's just not out there like it was in 08. Not even close. I go in the restaurants and listen to people talk in the morning while I drink my coffee..The people are disheartened with the president and his administration. I could be wrong, but what I am seeing is a democratic party that isn't energized. Will it be enough for Obama to lose the election? Who knows. It's going to be a nail biter however it goes, but if you think democrats are energized, you are sadly mistaken.
