When he was elected in 2008,he was already compared to Lincoln,Washington,Jefferson and other greats. He "won" a Nobel prize less than a year into his presidency. No way he or his supporters thought they would have to fight to just hang on. He is also in a similar position approval wise(as i know the libs love,or used to love until recently, polls)as GW Bush. What has brought him to this lowly state?

Recessions end when it stops getting worse. This is not the same thing as recovery.

Regardless of who won in 2008, he would be less likely to have a second term.

Pres. Obama has sunk below W Bush. I don't recall W Bush ever blaming Clinton for every little hiccup that came along. There were opportunities, but W Bush never did it.

Nobody could be as low as George W Bush. He hasn't even been invited to participate in the 2 presidential campaigns since he left office. I doubt that Obama would find himself in such a pickle.

Guess you missed the fact that since Obummer Care was passed and the 2010 Repug Landslide democrats running for office have been avoiding the Obungler like the plague when running for reelection.

I dunno about anyone else here, but I was expecting an unemployment rate of ~ 4 percent and for us to have taken over most of the planet by now. And also, that there would be a chicken in every pot.

When I look at all the fake money in the fake economy that has to be absorbed. When I look at the big picture and labor and economic stats, then I see the real story.

Bureau of Labor Statistics Data

etc.
