They don't want to talk about those things this close to an election.

Default No Press Briefing Since 9/24/2012 - Where's Carney?

No White House Press Briefing in Last 15 Days

The White House has not held a press briefing in the last 15 days, according to records on the White House's website. The last one was held on September 24, 2012, by White House press secretary Jay Carney.

However, in that 15 day time period, and including today, there have been 11 press gaggles. Nine have been conducted by Carney, while 2 have been held by principal deputy press secretary Josh Earnest. Campaign surrogates David Axelrod and traveling press secretary Jen Psaki have participated in the gaggles.

...
But there's a big difference between a gaggle and a press briefing. Gaggles are limited only to those members of the press who are traveling with the president of the United States and are not video taped. Press briefings, on the other hand, are open to credentialed media (who obtain White House approval) and are on camera.

That Libya Embassy fiasco must be a pain in the butt for them. Must be tough keeping up with all of the lies.

Looks like only a chosen few are allowed to filter the info out from the liars in charge of our country. Wonder if Obama will get another transparency award for this??

The Libya attack showed us that this administration does not communicate well among themselves.
Fingers pointed at various agencies and each one telling their own story and then denying it.

Congress getting the run around and depending on whistle blowers to find out the truth.

No wonder Carney is hiding in a closet.

Another word coverup. It is now clear that the Obama administration lied for two weeks about the Libyan terrorist attack on our embassy. Politics is the chief concern for Obama. The truth in matters of national security come last. Obama won't even say the word terrorist.

Well I heard he finally showed up today.

I was prepared to put up some blasts from the past so we can remember what he looks like.

Yeah, he showed up today. Fox was showing part of it with him denying anyone ever said it was a video.

Sept 16...Rice was all over TV talking about "the video".

Rice contradicts Libyan account, says consulate attack was not premeditated - The Hill's Global Affairs
Speaking on several Sunday shows, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice placed the blame for violence that has spread to two dozen countries across the Muslim world squarely on a U.S.-made anti-Islam video.
..
Rice said on Fox News Sunday. “We are of the view that this is not an expression of hostility in the broader sense toward the United States or U.S. policy. It's proximately a reaction to this video.”

Ambassador Susan Rice: Libya Attack Not Premeditated - ABC News
“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo,” Rice told me this morning on “This Week.”
..
Rice’s account directly contradicts that of Libyan President Mohamed Yousef El-Magariaf, who said this weekend that he had “no doubt” the attack was pre-planned by individuals from outside Libya.
