The TV ad, entitled “Actually Happened,” makes reference to what the Obama White House would like you to forget— what he promised would happen to the jobless rate if we spent $1 trillion on stimulus compared to what actually happened.
No...I don't remember that one. I remember the stimulus that probably kept the economy from collapsing.
Where did that money go to make things any better? Seriously, list the people who got it and how it made more jobs than if we wouldn't have blown that borrowed stimulus money. I do know it led to the US getting dropped from a tripple A rating, which was a first for our Nation. Oh, and please don't tell us how it saved jobs that was nothing more than pay off with our wallets for union thugs that helped obama get elected. SOMEDAY IT WILL ALL COME OUT HOW THAT TURNING THE CAR COMPANIES OVER TO UNIONS WAS A FRAUD!
How do you know the stimulus didn't work? Without it the country would be worse off than in 1932.
Look at who got all the money. The very people who screwed themselves in the first place by making poor choices on thier investments! It was nothing more than payoff for getting obama elected money. Money that we as a Nation will have to pay for.
You are not qualified to determine the probablity that the stimulous kept the economy from collapsing.
The fact is the Stimulous was inplimented and the economy is stagnant at best.
The keynisians only have false dellusions that the economy would have been this or would have been that without the stimulous.
Well said.
And I might add that the famous graph is still on the white house website which says that if we passed Obama's stimulus plan, unemployment would be 5.2% by now.
Start a thread about wars if you want. This is about Obama's failed stimulus.
