Libertarians say tax is theft, but they support the free market. What they fail to realize is that the free market runs on one principle: Profit. Profit is theoretically theft. According to natural law, to exceed income to expenditure, is a form of gimmick. This could be regarded as theft.
Rent seeking is theft, but not profit. In fact, libertarians will often argue that economic profits will be lower in free markets than our current paradigm of corporatism. Market competition will erode economic profits that many big companies make due to government intervention in the market on their behalf.

You can't have it both ways.
You are categorically incorrect in your theoretical statement.
Free market and profit are terms used to describe the voluntary act of commerce. No business I ever dealt with threatened me with violence or incarceration if I chose to NOT do business with them. Try that with the Infernal Revenue Service. No business ever sent me a letter stating that I must purchase their product or service. The free market runs on profit, yes, but it is strictly voluntary.

What book did you get that out of?
Without profit, nobody would create anything. For what reason would anyone want to put time and effort into something if they weren't going to receive something in return? What fantasy world are you living in?
Consumers have a choice when buying products. They choose to buy. Not theft.
Taxes and how they spend is not our choice.
There's the difference.
