So you are sure that those of us who are against gay marriage will react just as you supporters did with Chick-Fil-A? What happens if nothing happens? Will you be crying?
Some people are on the wrong side of history and steadily losing ground as more and more people realize it's way past time to stop treating gay people as second class citizens under the law.
I find it weird that corporations support anything. Corporations aren't people. It is possible that a specific management, at a certain point in time has their preference, but managements change frequently. While in the past many companies were family owned and stable over time, today its not the case. What happens if the next CEO is opposed to gay rights? What will Nordstom be than?
In my opinion all that started as advertisement gimmicks with companies like Benetton and took of from there.

Reason this corporation, Nordstrom supports is they believe in supporting freedom to marry will help them create a more attractive and inclusive workplace for their current and prospective employees.

How is nordtroms or chik filet or target or anybody other retailer treating gay folks as second class citizens? Their money is green too not pink.
I agree the government has no right to tell me who to marry. But you also don't have the right to limit how many I marry.
Actually, there are leigitimate, non-hokey religious or appeal to tradition reasons to limit marriage to two people.
Benefits of marriage, and the rights involved in the marriage contract are simply to unwieldly to be done between more than two people. SEX of an individual carries no such baggage or complications, and changes nothing vis-a-vis the division of rights, benefits and responsibilities of marriage.
If someone can figure out how to make that work, then you are right. The government WON'T have a "right" (or rather, a REASON) to limit marriage between two people only.
