Treasury reported today that the budget deficit for this FY was 207 Billion less than last year. More proof that Obama deserves what he will get: four more years.

Really? Because the clock showing our deficit count isn't reflecting this. Slowing down to 207 Billion in one year is a good start, but in the time it took for me to type this, half of that has been added back already.

We might know this if there was even a budget to begin with.

New liberal math, skyrocket the deficit and the debt, and then pretend a small drop equates success..

Hey OP, since the Republicans have stopped everything from going through, wouldnt this mean the GOP is responsible? Remember all of that spending Obama is trying to push through but being blocked?

Let me be clear, he did not reduce the deficit, just cut the amount added this year by 200 billion from what was added last year. That is progress, though. Over the ten year span they use for such things, that would equate to a 2 trillion cut in spending! Credit an improving economy for increasing revenues. It just goes to show how critical getting the economy back on the track is to managing the deficit.

It is NOT a $2T cut in spending if spending has gone UP..

So what exactly did Obama do ? He says that Congress has blocked everything he wants to do.

This is good news unless you are a Con and you want the country to get worse so you can blame it on the Democrats.
