Joe Biden interrupted Paul Ryan 82 times in 90 minutes. The Democrats have become the rude party!
by Dr Tim Stanley

No one’s denying that Joe Biden delivered the more energetic performance in Thursday’s vice presidential debate. He interrupted Paul Ryan 82 times in 90 minutes. Yet some polls say that Ryan won and many pundits are calling it a draw. How come?

Two reasons. First, deconstruct the Biden bluster and some of what he said was nonsensical. In the first 10 minutes alone,
-Joe insisted that the US intelligence community was wrong on Libya but trustworthy on Iran.
-He claimed that the staff at the Benghazi embassy didn’t want extra security when lots of sources say that they begged for it.
-He seemed to rule out war with Iran under any circumstances, which would remove America’s one bargaining chip.

As political klutzes go, Biden is to talking what Gerald Ford was to walking.

It's not so much the story, as it is the response from Stanley's readers.

Seriously, who is doing damage control on our image abroad? Between Obama's bungled "Queens Toast," Romney questioning the Olympic security, and now Biden attaining the rank of "rudest debater in history"... England must be just a tad concerned.

I think Obama tried to be polite, and was manstamped by Rawmoney.

I don't think it is in his nature, but I agree he will have to reduce himself to their level.

The UK Telegraph you say?

Do you mean the newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch?

The same Rupert Murdoch who owns FOX News?

The same FOX News and UK Telegraph that are owned by News Corp which is owned by....wait for it....Rupert Murdoch?

Is that the same Rupert Murdoch whose newspapers were caught spying invasively on privae citizens and politicians alike by taping phones and bugging their homes.

That Rupert Murdoch?

(nice try though)

Democrats took the wrong lesson from the Romney debate. It wasn't them being too nice that lead to defeat. It was Obama lack of passion, and precise answer that lead to the defeat.

If you are going to be rude then you will lose the debate, because you will end up looking like a jerk.

Why is rudeness a good thing? Rudeness is not going to help them win. Independents do not like it.

It shows 2 things. Bidden is not the Calm cool Head to take over if something happens to the president. It also shows why the Obama administration isn't able to work with the Republican Party so the country is successful. Clinton and Reagan were successful because they were able to get the parties to compromise on issues.

The paper being touted is a right-wing conservative publication in the UK. Why would anyone be surprised that it would take sides?
