Keeping our dollars in this country- as opposed to sending them overseas - is worth something. Whether it is worth the current tax credits, I do not know.

The problem is a lot of “green” products like the Nissan Leaf, appliances and solar panels are also made overseas. The sad part is we wonder why the nations deficit is sky high, when a lot of people in the poor and middle class are not paying their fair share because of credits and rebates.

Actaully eraned income credit was devised to distribute welfare and elimiante the amount adminsitering it atkes from what gets to those that need it. its taken care of by tresury are tax time. Othyer wise it would have just grown the fedewral governamnt and wasted money managing it. The federal govenment likes to micro manage every benefit and the homebuyers increase dedcution is really just like thsi plan i that it return maoney to those buyig houses as a class;really.

Really?? Because the airfare alone to Hawaii is about $1500 round trip... Have you ever spent a week in Hawaii?? A sandwich alone is about $12 in most spots. Food is ridiculously expensive.

I have been to Hawaii twice and each trip was $5000 MINIMUM... the second was way more because I stayed 2 weeks.

How much does she have left over to "buy the stuff she couldn't afford throughout the year"??

Or are you just making this stuff up??
