Have you ever noticed this?

Google "study effect of tax cuts". The top relevant results all say something along the lines that tax cuts for the rich do not stimulate economic growth/raising taxes on the rich do not stunt economic growth.

Google "effect of gay parents on children". The top relevant results all say something along the lines that children under gay households do not suffer any serious negative consequences (one states that they are more likely to reject traditional gender roles, but are A-OK.)

Google "democrat vs republican presidents economy". The top relevant results that are studies all confirm that the economy runs better under democratic presidents.

Every poll taken of climatologists lists somewhere around a 97% consensus that global warming is a man-made phenomenon.

Conservatives have so many wild theories ("lowering taxes on the rich will stimulate the economy!") but very rarely actually have the numbers to back it up. So there are a few explanations for this:

1. Most scientists are liberal, and are secretly conspiring with the Left. Of course, this would make one question why conservatives don't enter the math and science fields; maybe it's incompatible with their worldview?

2. Google is liberal.

3. The media is liberal, and has bribed scientific journals into only publishing liberal mouthpieces.

4. The Right is just full of ****, and has no numbers to back up any of its theories.

My family owns and has owned numerous businesses and tax cuts DO NOT effect hiring, ONLY DEMAND!

However, questioning FAIRNESS comes into the picture because one of our businesses was making a little over $1 million after expenses, and with payroll tax, income tax, etc we were paying close to 50% in taxes.

Once again, thinking cutting taxes will create jobs is FALSE. However, it is VALID to argue whether it is fair or not to require successful business owners to pay almost 50% in taxes.

Under normal circumstances, I would NOT be in favor for increasing taxes on the top bracket, but our deficit is far too large and will require SACRIFICES FROM EVERYONE. The poor and middle class will see less benefits, while the upper class will see higher taxes.

It's also important to understand that 97% of small businesses make less than $250,000, which is the limit before the tax hike would increase.

Studies show that studies are stupid.

It's just what's published vs what's not. Many of these could also be news stories with cherry-picked data. Not Google's fault though.

Yes but the 3% of small businesses that make more than 250k hire a large bulk of the workers that work for small business. I'm not sure of the exact percentage and I won't presume to know to bolser my point but I do know that is is large. And I agree that tax cuts don't always generate more hiring directly...but they do generate increased consumer spending...which in turn increases demand.

Yeah, except that if you used google scholar or went on a credible scientific database, the results would likely be even more one sided.

Was going to say the same thing.

Google uses "backlinks" to rank content, so the content you see in the top results are because it is popular and linked to.

If anything it just proves that liberalism is more popular on the web.
