MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is touting the deposit of nearly $109 million into the state's rainy day fund, money that can be tapped in an emergency.
The deposit announced Monday comes after the state ended the last fiscal year in June with a surplus of about $342 million. Even though it is less than 1 percent of what is spent out of the state's main account every year, it is the largest deposit ever into the rainy day fund. It marks the second year in a row that a deposit has been made.
The voters of Wisconsin got it right when then elected (and re-elected) Governor Scott Walker. Hopefully they will have the same good sense and vote for Mitt Romney over Barack Obama on November 6th.
Notice that states that elected Republicans are doing way better than ones run by Democrats.
Of course in a way this hurts Romney since voters in those states won't connect the dots and realize that Republicans actually DELIVER on their promises.

Very well said, jt. I can't wait to see the first leaner answer to you.
Just makes me laugh at the progs approach to and understanding of how to competitively run things; and most importantly, the proper size and scope of government.

ON WISCONSIN!
We love the guy, it's why we reelected him by an even wider margin then last time.
Funny how much hate Walker gets around the country, yet the guy's policies actually seem to be working well.
