Go back and look at your highligted text - Obama never used the words "terrorist attack". He refers to an "attack". Charlene Lamb did the same thing at the hearing and was asked why she didn't refer to the attack for what it was - a terrorist attack. She continued to refer to it as an "attack".

They are strongly trying to avoid the word terrorist. I guess that's because we are winning the war on terrorism and it must have been a bunch of ragtag homeless people who "attacked" the consulate, not terrorists.

I DON'T CARE what he said the following day at all.

Obama, Jay Carney, UN Ambassador Rice, and Hillary ALL stated AFTER that, for nearly two weeks, that it was due to a protest over a film that got out of control.

I guess you don't know the role of a moderator. They serve a purpose at the debate, they are not an active participant in the debate. A townhall meeting is meant for the people to ask questions, not for the moderator to monopolize audience time - people who were invited to ask questions. She was great at gagging Romney, giving Obama more speaking time, and really great at fact finding. Oh, wait, that was Romney's fault because he didn't word it correctly. Regardless how he worded it, she should not be fact checking!!!!

This debate was between Romney and Obama and they took her at her word - that she was going to be more active and they complained about it.

If Romney wins the last debate I can hear the : "Bob is a republican. He favored Mitt."

The President sets the tone in this area with his or her history, attitude and appointments.

But as I've been saying all along, it's not the actual terrorist murder of our Ambassador and three other Americans that is the problem....it's the COVER-UP.

Who's talking responsibility for lying bald-faced to the American public for almost two weeks?

We know now that Washington monitored the entire attack in real-time.

We know there was no protest over a film and that no one ever mentioned that.

Yet, the Obama administration said it was due to a protest over a film that got our of control for two weeks. Obama even said it to the UN.

This was a coordinated deception!!
I think Hilary framed her comments so that all she is doing is accepting responsibility for being in charge of the incompetent idiots working under her. Taking the responsibility to be the one to say "Hey, it's not my fault, it's his, or her, or them, who dropped the ball."

It's systemic incompetence and that detached attitude of indifference.

Not only that, his speech clearly refers to "the denigration of religious beliefs" as the cause of the attack:
Quote:
"Yesterday, four of these extraordinary Americans were killed in an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi. Among those killed was our Ambassador, Chris Stevens, as well as Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith. We are still notifying the families of the others who were killed. And today, the American people stand united in holding the families of the four Americans in our thoughts and in our prayers.

The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. We're working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats. I've also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people.

Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None."
