You adore Obama. When you enter the workforce you will be paying for all this government you think is so great. It won't be just some unknown rich people paying. You will too.... for your entire working life.

And that reality is supposedly going to change under a Romney presidency?

Actually, as a college student, me and most of my friends are ticked off at both parties and people of your generation (plus the Baby Boomers) for not taking responsibility and screwing this country over. We're going to have a tough time riding out the future storms that will come our way all thanks to you!

We will pay income tax regardless. How much we pay is my point. Government is expensive. Obama is all about expanding government.

Give us all a list of entitlements and government departments you would cut.

And so is Mitt Romney. He just won't admit it.

Republicans can never be honest about that fact.

I agree with you Greg. I am friends with my college-age son and many of his friends on facebook. Luckily, he is smart enough to know not to vote for Obama but he is leaning towards voting for Gary Johnson. Many of his friends are pro-Obama which I attribute to them never actually working for a living. I hope many of the pro-Johnson crowd will decide to vote for Romney instead of throwing their vote away.

I'm sure there are cuts that can be made to eliminate waste in defense spending.

Me too. I'm not silly enough to believe Romney is going to do that.

I'm sure many of them are young and idealistic, but they get to vote. Elections have consequences.

I want them to realize government isn't free.
