During a Springfield City Council public hearing on amending the city's nondiscrimination ordinance to include sexual orientation and gender identity protections, Rev. Phil Snider of the Brentwood Christian Church lashed out at the council for "inviting the judgement of God upon our land" by making "special rights for gays and lesbians." He goes on to invoke the bible and morality and the end of days a few more times before suddenly appearing to lose his train of thought. Then something amazing happens.
Predictable. Too bad homosexuality is not a race and instead is a sexual preference. Two separate, different and completely unrelated issues altogether.

Homosexuals want their unique sexual preference predicament regarded by society the same as a racial issue but it is not working because the two issues are separate and unrelated. “Rock and roll” could be substituted as well and you would get the same theme.

Oh...no wait there's adoption. Mmmmk....sooner or later the kids and everyone else are going to wonder WHY..............
It much more easy to say "son/daughter....Mommy and Daddy got horny one night".
