I would think he is doing it solely to prevent another grave happening, whether in distant lands, decisions presently being made in the WH...etc which would normally also emerge from the deficiency in operations which is so very clear. The WH operates in a criminally negligent way and has allowed for it, the deaths of 4 lives.

What we now fully know is that Obama does not know what the answer is and needs to investigate.

This is our new smokescreen, because

If you need to investigate...and don;t know...that is precisely the problem.

Obama now agrees he does not know what the problem is. and needs to investigate.

Thats the problem...Obama doesn't know whats going on in an area and subject that is "inconceivable to not know" and it cost lives, the whole region in an uproar and the US Embassy under massive violent threat.

What else does Obama not know about and need to investigate which will cost lives or other serious happenings in many many ways? This is the question, and if Romney does NOT take this precise route ONLY and repeat same when railroaded..Tom....he will get jammed with smokescreen after smokescreen "this is my outreach from this page to his people"

One of the cables released by Issa names a woman human rights activist who was leading a campaign against violence and was detained in Benghazi. She expressed fear for her safety to U.S. officials and criticized the Libyan government

"This woman is trying to raise an anti-violence campaign on her own and came to the United States for help. She isn't publicly associated with the U.S. in any other way but she's now named in this cable. It's a danger to her life," the administration official said.

In Reality:
This rights activist was hosted by the State Department for the International Visitor Program of the World Affairs Council in Seattle, Washington, in December 2011.

In a video, posted on the Internet, she criticizes the transitional government noting that women were, “marginalized in the transitional government.” Her badge reading, U.S. Department of State, is clearly visible in the video.

Default Busted. Obama White House Outed Libyan Human Rights Activist But Blamed House Oversight Committee

The Libyan rights activist who the Democratic-media complex says was outed by the Republican lead Oversight Committee was previously brought to U.S. by the Obama State Department, featured, and named on White House website.

This rights activist was hosted by the State Department for the International Visitor Program of the World Affairs Council in Seattle, Washington, in December 2011.

The House Oversight Committee reported:
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa issued the following statement in response to false Obama Administration claims that an Oversight Committee release of unclassified documents showing serious diplomatic security failures in Benghazi represented the first public association of the woman with the U.S.:

................

To see such prominent officials as Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Dick Durbin, Sen. Carl Levin, Rahm Emanuel, and Obama Senior Advisor David Axelrod paraded out over to weekend to make false charges about the Oversight Committee putting Libyans in danger only shows their desperation to hide the truth.

LOL....Liberals were all abuzz here on C-D only last week claiming that Issa had "outed" a Libyan democratic rights advocate.

They were OUTRAGED!!!

Now with the news that the Obama administration were actually the ones that outed her first......not so much, eh?

Nothing this administration whacko at that, ignorant at that, liars at that and this President does, not surprises me at all.

I expect anything any lie from them!

Nothing they do, stooping so low, does not surpirse me in the least.

And they are not even good liars at that.

It appears the Obama admin is caught lying yet again. I hope you don't mind but I'll post the rest of Issa's statement calling them all liars. I doubt we'll hear back from the swooners on this thread.

"“Obama Administration officials and their surrogates are clearly reeling from revelations about how the situation in Benghazi was mishandled and are falsely politicizing the issue in a last ditch effort to save President Obama’s reelection effort. As the Committee had previously indicated, the State Department has had these documents for two weeks but never contacted the committee about making specific redactions. The Libyans noted in these documents worked in positions where their interactions with westerners would not be surprising.”

That woman has stated that for the first time since the revolution she is afraid. I have to wonder why this didn't help the administration to see that Libyans were afraid for their health which would substantiate the pleas from Stevens.
