Caucasian club in High School (ethic, lawyers, Hispanics, support)

Don't get me wrong that is not why he wants to start it. He wants to show people how discriminating it is to allow the other clubs but if there was one for just white people it is racism. I wanted to get other peoples opinions on it. I am all for an American club which is culturally diverse

Is is okay to have a Caucasian Club in the school systems?

pretty much when they use the word "racisim" or "discrimination" they are talking about white guys doing stuff to other people, unfortunately, much all else get ignored, which is not cool. if you do this club you will be attacked. better, all american club, its a harder target to hit. the boy scouts are in big trouble they have played it poorly please don't make the same mistake. the race card is played on large very visible targets. dont be one. the civil rights movement is not about equality was it ever? i wonder if martin luther king, a christian minister and a good man knew that his movement would turn into this?
its about "adjustment for past grievances" a polite phrase for payback and revenge of an enslaved people. rage and malice play a big role in this movement.
i do salute you however for trying ot take some pride in european american accomplishments which are huge. ps i dont know of a continent called "white" i do know one called europe.

I think I will let him know that American Club is a better name. It will get enough attention already but at least the name will be more Politically Correct.

I seriously doubt any school would have a problem with your son starting a legitimate group based on some sort of identification - I don't think that a "Caucasian Club" has the same degree of identification as an "African-American Club" or a "Hispanic Club," simply because there is no overlying heritage to being Caucasian. Like others have said, perhaps a "German-American," "Irish-American," or even "American" club would more than likely be approved, though the latter should be open to any and all races. As a matter of fact, all of these clubs should be open to anyone. I know the Hispanic and Black clubs at my university were.

I do question the motivation of starting such a club, however. If he's doing it to search for others to identify with a certain heritage, fine. If he's just doing it in spite of these other clubs, he and you are being ridiculous.
