This one Amazon.com: Kaplan Scholarships 2008: Billions of Dollars in Free Money for College (Kaplan Scholarships): Books: Kaplan

is 620 pages.

The last time I was at BN there was about 6 or 7 different books, about 500 to 1000 pages, full of different scholarship sources.

I'm quite confident he'll find one scholarship that allows white kids to apply.
You missed it. She said "only" white kid scholarships.

Also, a simple google search for "scholarships for white students" produced these sites:

White Students Now Eligible For Minority Scholarships... - The Huffington Post

White Students Get Minority Scholarships - New York Times

CNN.com - New scholarship created for whites only - Feb. 16, 2004

A lot of scholarships are available based on ethnicities. There are German, Irish, Italian, Polish ethnicity scholarships just as there are Hispanic, Jewish, African American. Just have to look them up.

What's hilarious about this whole scenario is that some of these very same people whining about entitlements are the same ones complaining about how much other people are clamoring for entitlements in different contexts.

And this i agree with.

"No matter what my ethnicity is, I'm making a statement that scholarships should be given out based on merit and need," Mattera told the Providence Journal."

I don't agree with that. Scholarships serve different purposes. A great many scholarships are merit based, a great many aren't.

I don't see the big deal, especially given the demographics that are seeking higher education.

I do agree with this:

"White man, you're gonna be okay!"

I appreciate your efforts, but this article is over 3 years old---a little out dated.

I am still trying to figure out why everything must be segregated? Why do we need a United Negro College fund or any other minority find? It should be based on needs and school performance. Why all the division? How are Americans suppose to feel a connection to anyone with this crap. Instead of how different we all are, how about focusing on what we have in common.
