Some one took Laden's place. I didn't look at it hard enough to say the who name. But I know, there is a new leader among them and that all that was accomplished in killing Laden was giving them more to be mad at us about. However, it isn't like they need an excuse. They seem to be making up those excuses as they go along.

That bad part about that is the American people who believe the excuses, as well.
Bush didn't want Bin Laden. I don't know why, but I believe that Obama going after him, the way he did, was a huge mistake. Seeing as how nothing is really disclosed on this, one is only left to speculate as to why Bush's strategy Laden was to be left alone.
Bush was interested in the Iraq war and not getting Bin Laden.
So from this one can conclude that when something is to be done the lobbyist go to the President (traveling up the chain) and says, we need an executive order that will say change citizens privacy laws so they are less, the housing bubble to pop, the ball outs to begin, etc...and the President does it?
Is that how it is that we blame the President for all that ails the American dream?
Of coarse not and you know it....Aw maybe when Cheeny was running things and there was a lot being set behind closed doors. For the most part, the K street guys get to know their elected reps. very well. They also know the politician wants to be re elected. here comes the Pork, and here come the Lobbyist its a circle thats been going on for a real long time. It took someone like Jack Abar. to bring a lot of this out in the open.

What was going on before 911 that would make you believe that Bush was only interested in the Iraq war? And then what 911 was the excuse he was looking for?

And the Righties just said no to everything. Do you know how hard it was to get some level of healthcare passed. ? Now its time to improve on it with single payer. The biggest barrier to the sucess of small business is healthcare cost. You will make more jobs when you can compete. Forget about China. A lot of auto production has gone to Canada, just because of rising healthcare costs.We don't need no stinkin Insurance Companies !!
Quick enough. Just a thought, Harry Reid does not have enough vote to override a filibuster . The Dems need more than a simple majority. I am not happy about the gridlock ether. It IS his job to count votes, that's why he is the leader.It was not that long ago that Healthcare passed, it wasn't easy if you recall. What got passed was not to my liking, and I was not alone. What we need is a way to get rid of Insurance Companies, big Pharma too, the Right endorsed, it was very costly and did more harm than good.
Watch the debates, they are only a few min. Away.
When was the last "real" filibuster?
Keep in mind it was Reid who came up with the current rules when he was in the minority.
What is good for the goose is good for that gander.
How can there be a filibuster of a bill when Reid won't let House version get out of his drawer.
Why won't he let his committees at least see the bills?
It has been stated by several dems in the Senate that they would LIKE to work on some of these bills because they have merit.
harry WON"T let his fellow Senators vote on bills BECAUSE he doesn't want his fellow dems to be on the record voting against certain things. it could be used against them in this re-election. There ARE ABOUT 27 DEMS SEEKING RE-ELCTION. heaven forbid they have a voting record for the voter to see.
if he is going to be afraid of bills being filerbusted and passed and NOT submitting a budget why are we paying them.
