And how was that? Not trying to be contentious - I just know nothing about any tie between Trump and Romney . . . ?
Trump butted in and made a big splash endorsing Romney. It was clear Romney wanted to hide under a table, but decided to be gracious instead. It was quite embarrassing to watch. I felt for both of them.
I enjoy Trump, never watch his show, but he needs to stay in the background this close to the wire. He adds humor and color but no real content.
He needs to stay out of it. Polling shows Obama and Biden didn't help themselves in the debates. So we don't need any bs from Trump right now or ever.
Right now Romney is looking good. Leave the crap to Obama and the dems.

People have pretty much decided after the last four years, that they'd rather not have Obama back. They've just been concerned that there might not be a good replacement, so many had been resigned to dealing with the devil they know instead of the devil they don't.
But since Romney has looked so much better in the debates than Obama had told everyone he'd look, people are starting to decide that maybe Romney WOULD make a better President, even despite his Romneycare history. So more and more are coming over to the Romney camp.
Romney's getting ahead in the polls, it not so much because of what Obama has done recently, as what Romney has done. And anything Obama does in these last few weeks, won't change anybody's mind about Obama, they've seen it all from him already.
Obama has had four years to impress the voters enough to get there votes... and he blew it. Now if Romney can persuade them he will do better (not a hard standard to beat), they will elect him.
Romney simply has to not screw up, these last few weeks, and the election is his.
Anything Obama (or Donald Trump) does, won't make any difference any more.
