Go over the last three pages of this forum and count the number of threads dealing with blacks being easily-led fools, blacks being naturally-inclined to crime, blacks just looking for handouts, "Will blacks riot if Obama is re-elected." Amazingly, every one of these threads is started by foaming-at-their-scabby-mouths right wingers. I mean, what are the chances???

Whoops, by pointing out their racial prejudices, it makes me the real prejudiced person!

It's like arguing with an eight-year old: "I know you are, but what am I?"
Why is it then, when a black person supports a Conservative, they are an "uncle Tom" or voting against their own self interest?
If our society is racist, particularly within the younger population, it is being driven by what they see coming out of the black community or the portrayal of the black community.
Let's face it, most blacks have assimilated into society similar to the Irish, Italians and various ethnic groups before them. Why not throw away the race card and be the change...
If you don't want to join in with American society, don't expect the majority to agree with your actions.

I've never used that term. I don't think, by itself, a black being a Republican is indicative of that. If you asked me if someone like Allen West, who has bragged of being a member of white supremacist biker gang, would match that term, I would probably agree. I don't see how that would be inappropriate. It would seem to fit the description to a tee.

So, what you're arguing is that blacks make whites be prejudiced because of the way they act?

Lightbulb Lawrence Wilkerson, Former Colin Powell Aide, Blasts Sununu, GOP, As 'Full Of Racists'

Where else can a poor misunderstood racist go these days for political companionship?

Hummmm. I wonder why a high profile Republican is supporting Obama? It is just so unusual.

I don't think you need any place other than the City-Data political forum. Plenty of cover here, plus the mods essentially allow free reign.

Sad, but true. Sununus comments prove it.

Declared: The use of the term 'racisim', when charged politically, will reflect negatively on the accuser who will now be considered of low character and an undesirable. Charges of racism mitigate legitimate efforts to promote racial harmony and as such shall be considered divisive and destructive.

Observe, folks. If they can banish the term from the public lexicon, it frees them to continually assert that blacks are lazy, blacks are just looking for handouts, blacks are easily-led sheep, blacks are naturally violent and so on.

Sununu played the race card - for all of the world to see. It's funny that you portray the Dems as playing the race card at this point.

Did you listen to his comments? They were shameful. It's good that his own party is calling him out.

Might give them some much-needed credibility as opposed to being known as the party of hate.
