From the article:

Quote:
“I’m a citizen just like you are and I want to be treated like one,” he said. “I don`t want to be protected from the police. I want to be protected by them.”

I want neither - if a cop threatens or assaults me or my friends or family - I will take whatever neccesary action to defend my own life and those of others.

I certainly have no wish for the cops to "protect me".

I want the cops - and the government in general - to leave me alone.

The only role of government is to secure our unalienable and God-given rights.

Good exposure story of bad cops. Very brave of the reporting person in this instance, really too bad he was threatened. Lots of stories coming out on these type of cops lately, I'm sure there are plenty more to come. Maybe, someday stories like these will bring a good change in the police departments across the country.

Malone was fired and has been indicted for allegedly attacking and raping a woman in 2013. Good riddance of a bad cop.

Perhaps there but not here the call would have been to supervisor. Remember those cops on motorcycles in NY not long a go. Its happens. But now do you think it was checked; yep by recordings. Not really typical; IMO.

This is what we get from lowering standards for qualifications for the police academy.

There are websites that only allow anonymous reporting of criminal behavior.

One family member of ours was living next to some 'drug-makers', with people coming all hours of the day & night, never using their brakes going around corners, and the vehicles they drove were al without license plates.

Over a period of several weeks --maybe months-- they took notes of the times they came to pick up 'product', and descriptions of what they were driving.

Then, that information was entered on WeTip.com.

Not too long after that, two vans pulled up a few houses from that houses, about a dozen men in army fatigues, with guns in hand . . . showed up. The people living across the street said that they were there throughout that night, arresting people as they showed up.

Another situation was when a known sex offender in the neighborhood began meeting a teenager (son?) on their way home from school. He cussed at & berated this kid all the way down the street (presumably all the way home). A member of our family couldn't stand seeing this . . . so reported it to police, who said the kid would have to report it for them to do anything. So, that family member entered the same report --anonymously, of course-- on WeTip.com. . . . It seemed that the guy's parole officer got the info, because the guy stopped cussing & berating the kid on the way home from school soon after that, even though he kept meeting the kid & escorting him the rest of the way.

So, I suggest anonymous reporting of true criminal behavior . . . through a website that simply does not allow you to identify yourself.

In this day and age, everyone has got a phone in their pocket, and the majority of those usually have some form of video recording device. There is absolutely no excuse for there not to be a camera on the cops every time they interact with the public.

If you're interacting with the cops, record it.

If you see the cops interacting with someone else and you have the time, stop and record it. If they're good cops, they should have no problem with it.
