I don't trust chase because I have had issues with them due to their fault. As far as dredging up a 3 yr old thread I didn't pay attention to the date. Until a thread is closed anything goes.

5 years later, the footnote still invites comment.

So far, our bank doesn’t charge ATM fees but I hear that many do. Banks pushed ATM’s to provide less costly service then decided to charge for it. What a deal for them.

My worst gripe is that most banks now charge check cashing fees to non customers, even when the check is on their bank. That is thievery to the 10th power.
