If you want to place blame on lack of oversight...look to the HMFIC. Not that Obama will take responsibility for anything that happens under his watch...instead pointing the finger at someone over an event that took place EIGHT YEARS AGO. I'm surprised he isn't playing the "blame Bush" card again. Reminds me of a spoiled child that can't take responsibility for things he breaks.
Obama will claim responsibility, but some how, some way, will point his finger at other people to be held accountable.

Looks like Obama's FDA knew the place was dirty and did nothing about it.

The absentee president strikes again!

When will this not suitable for Office candidate be held responsible?

This thread holds no water.

Let's hear it for fewer regulations.

"But the epidemic may also play a role in the presidential campaign, now that state records reveal that a Massachusetts regulatory agency found that the New England Compounding Co., the pharmaceutical company tied to the epidemic, repeatedly failed to meet accepted standards in 2004 — but a reprimand was withdrawn by the Romney administration in apparent deference to the company’s business interests.

Your premise reeks of hypocrisy.

You are claiming Romney should be held responsible for something that MIGHT have happened on his watch while he was governor yet at the same time most liberals say Obama is NOT responsible for things that happened on his watch such as Fast and Furious, the murders of 4 Americans in Benghazi, the 16 trillion dollar deficit, etc., etc.
