Where's the frickin' mother?

Or the damned baby daddy?

The National Guard is the least of the problems with this low life story.

Yes, this does look like one of these lame emails. For one thing, the National Guard is organized by state. It would be the NJNG that should be coming, possibly with assistance from some other state(s). The NG is not HQd in DC.

I have been glued to the TV as I have stayed safely at home thru all of this. I was fortunate enough to not have to deal with a power failure, but NY and NJ have seen devestating destruction. All the Mayors and Governors on the east coast are praising the coordinated efforts of their state emergency responsders and those of FEMA under the POTUS. So, as for the OP...bull crap!

I cannot believe how vast the damage is and what people tend to forget is that NY and NJ are the most densely populated areas of the USA. At least Governor Cuomo is forward thinking and realizes that the new infrastructure will have to be built with these changing weather patterns in mind.

Good news! There is help for her! President Obama has given her permission to contact him if she is not able to get pass red tape. She will need to pick up her phone and call the white house right away. Obama has stated that he will step up when all else fails. There is no red tape at the white house in which obama lives. There must be some other white house that you are referring to! It sounds like you might need a factchecker because your claims are false.

Do you have a link to this story? Because the New Jersey National Guard is already here in New Jersey. They were on standby way before the storm.

They are dealing with the most life threatening conditions first. People are still in danger of dying in many place.

How could she not have enough food. It's not like this storm was a surprise. How could she not have jars of baby food. Makes no sense to me....something is off here.

The storm was yesterday. And she's already run out of food? And I can't find this interview anywhere on the internet.

Plus the National Guard are ALREADY in New Jersey. They're handing out food at the local shelter tonight

This has to be the most ridiculous thread of the day. My vote. Are there any seconds?

I also have several friends who live in Hoboken. They were hit hard but are all walking around today. The people who are really trapped are on the barrier islands off the shore. Totally inaccessible.

What "technology" would be needed to rescue this woman who has been trapped all of 24 hours? A ladder?

And the National Guard is there.

Sandy turns Hudson County streets into rivers, leaves 228K powerless | NJ.com

Quote:
The National Guard loaned the city several large trucks that can drive through water as deep as six feet in order to reach those who had disregarded the city's orders in area of mandatory evacuation, Healy said. He did not know how many were extracted.
Very irresponsible if she did not heed the mandatory evacuation.
