He is doing what is best for his state and not even thinking about politics. Some people are capable of that, ya know.

Yes^ and it would be so refreshing now to see a DEM act in a similar way.

No. As much as people hate Christie, the guy does what he says he will do and he says whatever is on his mind. I'm sure he has some future aspirations, but I doubt he planned an "Oscar" speech, he is just saying whatever comes to mind. Sometimes it works out for him, other times, not so much.

Maybe he's being the Governor of a state that has just been through a mega storm...ever think of that?
