I was surprised to see Bloomberg mention global warming in his rejection of Romney, and endorsement of Obama.

I thought all republicans had to sign a pledge to deny anthropogenic global warming!

Just like they pledge to never raise taxes and to always wear a larger flag lapel pin!

Seriously, what the hell is up with these pledges?

I would like to have our congressmen and women and presidential candidates think for themselves. No way in hell I want them pledging to do anything other than serve the people of our country.

I pledge to never vote for any d-bag who has signed on of those pledges!

I do not like pledges because they trap you in a box and you have nothing to horse trade with. Example, I will give you that 80 billion by taxing the rich and in return you give me a trillion dollars in spending cuts. Do we have a deal?

Are there any pro-life Democrats? I am sure there are, but i cannot think of one.

No, they are all anti-life/pro-death. Perhaps it's time to stop with these lame and childish attempts at false dichotomies? They haven't worked in the past, they are not working now.

People who use such purposely misleading terms always strike me as unable to stop themselves from mindlessly repeating propaganda they have been spoon-fed.

I thought Biden said in the VP debate that he was pro-life, but that he did not feel like he should decide for someone else. I'd say I am pretty much of the same mind.
