How do you guys feel about Bush and Obama bailing out the people that caused this economic catastrophe while leaving the common man jobless and homeless?

America does have a communist elite.

The Elite are in the five big investment banks on Wall Street.

Champagne Socialism at it's finest.

but we must bail out the bankers because they are used to their lives of plenty so are entitled to it.

The rest of the population should be grateful to the elites for looking after them and providing jobs.

(sarcasm intended)

The same way I feel about the ones who think the very same people who ruined the economy are the ones to listen to when it comes to getting us out. Stupid is as stupid does.

When I was a kid I knew this very super wealthy conservative family- So I assumed that conservatives were the ones with all the money and influence..The head of this family was a business man who became a "conservative" senator....I was hanging out with the daughter when she mentioned that an important man was coming over to their house for lunch. The guy coming was a LIBERAL.

Not some ordinary liberal but one who would later for a short time become the Liberal Prime Minister..Being a simplistic teenager at the time - I thought ...How odd...I thought that the left and right or conservative and liberals were supposed to be enemies...to ends of the conflicting political spectrum...SO what were these two men doing having a cozy lunch in the big house on the hill at the end of the long forested driveway?

It got me thinking. These two rivals meet in private..what is all that about? Then I came to the realization that the super rich and powerful control the LEFT AND THE RIGHT.

I learned that a very young age. Later the eldest son of this family went on to become a very powerful investment banker. He had influence over the banks..the courts..and had some quiet political clout. What I saw with this particular person was someone who benefited from Canadian style socialism- when the poor got free drugs payed by tax dollars..one of his companies would turn a profit...When welfare recipients had their money go into the bank through direct deposit...and there were banking charges- he got a cut.

Perfect example that has become blatantly obvious that socialism benefits the high elite is in the BAIL OUT phenomena..Tax dollars collected from the poor handed over to the rich.

Also...when socialists in Canada wanted to assist the feminist cause in Afghanistan...and supported the war...The elite would get a cut or the tax dollars being spent by well meaning socialists in the form of "war supplies" sales...This old investment banker really did not give a damn who was in power- as long as he and his friends controlled the money supply- Who ever controls the money controls food and shelter- hence they control the people.

Government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers. A truly free system manages itself based on the choices of those within it and the consequences of those choices. Neither business nor individuals should be given handouts by the government.

Government should never bail out or subsidize any business for any reason.

Bush, Romney and Obama all support corporate welfare and bailouts yet still have so many lower and middle class supporters. I don't get it.

There's another saying of republicans (uttered quietly) - "Privatize profits, socialize losses". Every republican hates socialism when things are going well, but expects a bailout or govt "helping hand" when things go bad. Yet they despise "government interference" and "entitlements" for the poor. Even managed bankruptcy, loved by corporations, is a government program.

I say "republicans" because they are now the unabashed Wall Street Party.
