And it just amazes me that with all of you on here that are "pro-choice" continue to say "but these women ARE making educated decisions about whether to abort or not" yet I went to several abortion clinic, including planed parenthood, and a teen "ask the expert" sites and NOT ONE of those sites said anything about stages of a fetus. The main topics were how is an abortion performed and whether parents have to know or not. The ONLY sites on the web that I found concerning abortion that talked about the stages of a fetus, alternative options and the emotional/physical ramifications in any form, were the anti-abortion sites. You want to fix the abortion issue? FORCE any clinic or "expert" web site to show BOTH sides of the issue in the same information giving location, whether it be a web site or pamphlet. I was absolutely disgusted as I have been in the past with planned parenthoods web site and information given so callously and one sided, which is to say the "procedure" is safe no matter what else you may have read. It is just wrong, women and especially young women should be FULLY informed on all aspects to make a life changing decision such as abortion.

That's nearly as silly as saying:

once a woman has decided she wants to carry a baby to term; her OB/GYN should be forced to give a woman literature on aborting....because it's an option, yes?

The bottom line is, don't force your beliefs on anyone...

The pro-abortion supporters DO NOT want teens or women to be informed. They know that the truth will not fair well in their favor. Planned Parenthood (odd name for that one ) makes millions and millions off the ability to kill a fetus/baby. Abortion is big business!

The bottom line is, don't force your beliefs on anyone?.....................OR THE TRUTH.

Actually yes, my OB/GYN DID have to give me info about abortion, as well as Amnio info and the option to have the test done then abort the child if there was anything negative in the results. She knew I was against it and would not get the amnio but she said it was REQUIRED to give it to me.

I don't know where you are getting your information from, but I am very much pro-choice and I am well informed regarding the development of a fetus. We learned about this in 5th Grade! Against abortion, don't have one. Quit pushing your views on everyone else. I can just see how you would love it if vegans forced you to not eat meat, dairy or eggs, same issue, it's regarding personal beliefs and choices.
Bottom line is
My body - my choice.

I really don't mean to be disrespectful, but please do not try to reduce this complex subject to the level of bumper stickers.

Your snappy, dismissive phrase makes it sound like you're ordering at McDonald's. Children are not choices like entrees. They are our future.

What is interseting is that I posted this thread to see what people thought of this "just the facts" documentary showing both sides of the issue. I haven't seen many post addressing the movie.

That is my view...doesn't bother me one bit, if you don't like it.
If you want to have children, have as many as you want. I chose not to have any and thank goodness my birth control has always worked, but I would not let you or anyone else force me into having unwanted offspring.
End of story.

Well then don't read the posts or the thread if you are firmly set in your views and do not want to discuss the issue. What if I were to say I want you to stop pushing your views of pro-choice on me?
And if it is your body, your choice and you believe it is true, than why are people put in facilities and under suicide watch for there own protection? If it is your body, your choice, shouldn't a person be able to end there own life? No, but to end another's life is ok because it is a choice. There is a huge difference between choice and medical necessity. Drug users abuse there bodies daily and that is ok with you too because it is "Their body, their choice"?

I respect your view. I am only asking that you express it with a little more humanity. And I am not trying to force you into anything.
