Broad stroke comments do not serve the topic, and imo lessen the impact of a statement.
Clearly "many people" do not go into the non-profit sector to put profit into their pocket; profits are reinvested, and not in the individual's coffers. All non-profits have strict limitations and reporting procedures And, executive salaries certainly have climbed over the years in and out of profit and non-profit organisations, but if any killing is going on, it is making a killing in the stock market.

Wait...
You don't support universal health care, but you do support private health care and health care ran as a business.
Have you seen the profits that health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and the health care industry in general makes? Have you seen how much the presidents, chairman, and the board of directors make?
You're right - it must take a lot of LIVING expenses for the KILLING business.
Talk about a gross, absolutely ridiculous double standard. Which just goes to show how little thought you actually put into your views. Otherwise you'd be, you know, a little consistent.
Because how can you be so militant about abortion, yet so oblivious to the lives of people outside of the womb?

We could compare and contrast the benefits and salary of the the United Health Care CEO and the CEO of PP. Check out a thread right here in P&oC:

Your perspective on what a woman who chooses to abort is thinking and feeling is very telling - thanks for sharing your little gem.

My "perspective" comes from hearing a woman say it
Hence, my "little gem"

Personally I would support universal health care for myself because we do not have insurance but is it good for all people, not just people in my position? If I vote for universal health care it would be solely out of self interest.
I don't support universal health care because I used to live in Canada. It's great for emergencies and some general ills but for long term health care.....wait and die or go to the US for care and pay out of your pocket.

This "woman" does not speak for anyone but herself. She doesn't in any way represent or symbolize all women in the world. Thanks for sharing.
P.S. I really don't believe that was how she said it - "I'll just kill it". Maybe you had the same filters on your ears then, as you do on your eyes now. My BS detector is tingling.

Are you going to suggest that women (some) do not use abortion as a method of birth control?

Undoubtedly some women use abortion as birth control, but in my 60-odd years I knew only one and her use of abortion was before the introduction of some of the new(er) contraceptive measures and before legal abortions. So, I know 1 of perhaps 3, 4 or 5 thousand.

Certainly not - the only difference is that I mind my own business and don't pass judgment on someone who does. I would be more interested in educating an individual like that on how to use appropriate methods of contraception, and ensure that they have liberal access to it.
