I am not talking about Chinatown people, but those naturalized Chinese Americans who obtained an advanced degree (mostly science and engineering) in the US.
Almost all of them support Romney. One reason might be Romney said he will "staple a green card on the degree certificate of STEM majors". (Though Romney will certainly cut funding for research.)
They do not want to pay for other people's food stamps either. First generation immigrants do not want to "share".
Your opinion is worthless. Back it up with hard evidence if you want people to believe you.
I am not talking about statistics, only my experience.
I am a Chinese too (but I cannot vote), with a PhD degree. So I have many friends with similar background.

You said "one reason might be..." not very definitive. Since you know them and it is apparently brought up, why not just ask?
Do they base their decisions on one or two little wedge issues, rather than the big picture?
Chinese tend to vote conservately in general. Once I had a discussion with a Chinese workmate (a recent immigrant). I asked who he would vote for. He said "probably democrat. What is their major difference". I said "They tend to let new immigrants in" and he replied with "Oh No! I will vote republican then".
This is not such an usual thing among new immigrants.
Hmmm. Lets see. A group of people who work hard, never make excuses, save money, value family and education..and you expect them to vote for Barry Obama?

Sorry to burst your bubble but Asian Americans tend to vote or lean Democratic
A Pew Research Center study from over the summer found Asian Americans are less likely to identify with the Republican Party compared with the overall population. Half of those polled reported being Democrats or leaning Democratic, while only 28 percent reported being or leaning Republican.
Fortunately, I'm not clueless enough to think that such an absurdly small sample, skewed by being only people I happen to know in the very small area of the country that I live and work, are any sort of a representative sample of people named "Scott".
