Some of the members got a little over zealous about what their mission was and took it much farther than their neo-con masters had intended, but defeating Obama WAS their intention. They have now been spanked, and I suspect their leash will be shortened when it is decided that they are needed back in the 'righty' fold to actually win national elections.

the tea party should just give up..lets celebrate

gay marriage

lets shoot for 60% getting welfare

lets celebrate when we are 20 trillion in debt and still no one cares

lets throw a party when a gallon of gas is over 8.00 throwing us into a depression

lets celebrate when iran blows israel off the map, and we do nothing..

lets set a national holiday when unemployment is over 15% and no one cares

and we can really have a party, when china says- PAY UP , and we give them our navy

also we can celebrate the 98% liberal media as we always have...let's be fair and call them what they are-liberal cheerleaders

also, lets celebrate the higher taxes coming for the shrinking working americans,,particularly the job creators, and the large job creators that offer good paying jobs and benefits will now move more of there assets out of the country because of taxes on the so called "rich"

Obama may have won....but America lost

It's obvious.
They drank too much of their product and drowned in their own teepee.

Hopefully they keep knocking out moderate Republicans in primaries thereby setting up Democratic victories in general elections.

Well -- Obama sure didn't get any kind of mandate. And there are the midterm elections coming up in just two years. Obama is now a lame duck president. And he's going to get lamer.

He made some really big promises to win those 50% of the voters and they're going to expect him to fill those promises. If he doesn't, they might not even bother to vote in 2 years.

That would be a good idea -- Obama has deepened the divisions of this country.

The original Tea Party was onto something. It was more a grassroots movement focused on fiscal responsibility and rampant taxation. It stood for a messages that reasonable Americans could get behind. Then the religious nutjobs and the Koch brothers co-opted it. And now it's a liability to the entire GOP.

The GOP needs to bump these fools to the curb asap.
