There are instructions that Obama gave his followers..He used the word "reconciliation" - Even he has figured out that his very presence has cause such severe polarization and a huge divide in the nation that it will NOT work unless the left recognizes the value of the right...of big business of good fiscal management. "A house divided can not stand".

I suggest that those that gloat in victory attempt to use some common sense once the euphoria as lifted. If you are incapable of reconciliation and taking the instructions of YOUR leader...You are doomed...Obama is not the sharpest tool in the shed but he does realize that co-operation and mutual respect is a must...Good luck- forgive and forget.

Maybe Obama will present a budget even the dems will vote for instead of the previous ones that he couldn't get even ONE dem to vote for.

Umm, he can't pass anything through the dems either. Nor has he even tried to pass a budget. How can someone stand in the way of someone that isn't even walking toward them. Doesn't work and doesn't fly.

A couple of months ago, he stated, "sometimes I forget about the economy". Of course you do when you don't try to do anything about it!

I would love to see some jobs that pay enough to get by and a more managable cost of living. Right now, it's middle class paying more and more with less and less income. In NJ, the equivalent per hour rate for being on welfare is $12.55. Good luck finding an actual job that you have to leave your house for paying that.

Or it was more hogwash coming from him.

He wants the title, not the job.

Let's not pretend this was some landslide election. It wasn't. I was very happy to see that there are some that really want to see jobs and not more entitlements.

Social issues have no place in national elections. Those will be decided by states as we have seen and will continue to. Votes need to be about the money, specifically the money we pay in taxes and how it is to be used.

The House obstructing more deficit spending has been a good thing. They need to keep it up until Obama actually introduces a plan that will lead us on a path different than the Greek one.

I actually agree with this. These final four years will cement his legacy.
I hope, for the sake of the country, his legacy will be a positive one.

Gop wants accountability with spending. Is that so much to ask as we have a huge deficit? Obama wants to spend on his quirky green agenda and waste taxpayers money on cash for clunkers. This man is inept and had no business experience. His ideology will kill us with debt for four more years of stupid spending by this idiot in the white house.
