Montana Voters Nullify Obamacare Mandates – Tenth Amendment Center Blog

Good...I got a feeling that a revolution of sorts is gonna happen when this crap tries to go into effect.Either DC will back down and realize it can't force this on the people or there will be a revolt.

Great news!! I think we are going to see a lot of states stepping up and fighting big government takeovers from BO.

And, the fact that Republicans picked up more govenorships last night really helps.

Alaska opted out of ObamaCare, and any State Exchanges in 2010. It never even came up as a vote. Governor Parnell made an executive decision that Alaska will have no part in ObamaCare.

Would you have a link to a reputable resource to support that? I've searched, and have found the following:

Reactions swift to Supreme Court health care ruling | Juneau Empire - Alaska's Capital City Online Newspaper - Parnell says state will resist where it can, but will largely move forward with the Affordable Care Act. Posted: June 28, 2012 - 11:11pm | Updated: June 29, 2012 - 9:09am

Quote:
Alaska will reluctantly implement health care reform, while trying to shift costs to the federal government, Gov. Sean Parnell said Thursday following the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision upholding most of the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Parnell said the state may resist implementing parts of the legislation where that’s legal and an option for the state.
And

Alaska Won't Fund Health Insurance Exchange
- Press Release, Gov. Sean Parnell

Quote:
July 17, 2012, Juneau, Alaska - Governor Sean Parnell today announced that Alaska will not create a state-run health insurance exchange under the new federal health care law. His announcement came after the State of Alaska completed a study on health insurance exchange planning.

“Allocating state dollars and personnel to design and implement an exchange is the most expensive option,” Governor Parnell said. “It doesn’t make sense to spend Alaskans’ dollars to set up an exchange when so much uncertainty exists about how to implement it and how to gain federal approval. Federally mandated programs should be paid for by federal dollars.”
According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, as of Sept. 27, 2012, eight states have indicated that they will not be establishing health exchanges. That means that the federal government will be establishing the health exchanges for those states, as per the Affordable Care Act. Electing not to establish a health exchange is not the same thing as opting out of Obamacare. It simply means that a state has chosen to let the federal government determine what the health exchange in their state will look like.

Texas opted out of the state run exchange as well. Texas will let the Fed run it. Saves us some money as the Fed was not going to fund that part.
