Yes.

So we can quit wasting untold billions of dollars futilely trying to stamp it out, while only succeeding in driving the price high enough to fill the coffers of gangs and cartels.

Yes, the World was getting along just fine with this plant legalized for thousands of years.
The United States and their "War on Drugs" is certainly not the deciding factor on this matter. Time will reveal all truths.

Decriminalized fully across the board. Then legalized.

I hate it, I think it stinks to high heaven, I think it's disgusting, I have no respect for those who do it, my neck and spine are all jacked up because of some tool shed who smoked it, then decided to go for a drive and plowed in to me, patchouli is an even worse stench, every single person I have met, (that I have met), who smokes it has been a complete and utter MORON, I don't find being strung out funny....

But I still think it should be legal.

No way. It turns its users into morons. And it's a gateway drug. Time to crack down on it, not legalize it. No more wrist slaps.

Legalize marijuana? No.

Decriminalize it? Yes.

There is a difference.
