I'm gonna ask Santa Claus for a bazooka this Christmas. Then again, didn't we just reelect Santa Claus to the presidency? He hates anything that's capable of propelling projectiles at hypersonic speeds. ****.

We are screwed no matter who won. Policies of the last century have created a general lifestyle that is not sustainable. I will continue making money with my businesses, and eventually retire in the paradise of Costa Rica.

New "James Bond" movie opening on Friday. Looks like a good one.

The OP noted that this is only her/his second election. Sorry that you have become so disenchanted so quickly. Honestly it has been always thus. Our form of government is messy and unwieldy and far too dependent on bucket loads of money to carry on. But, it works and it is ours and it is still a whole heck of a lot better than the alternatives.
Stop listening to those who believe that we are now a third world country. Join AmeriCorps or the Peace Corps and go see some real third world countries. A little perspective can go a long way.

Well, I think I'm going to head on over the river later today and congratulate a few Americans on avoiding Mit the twit. I'll also fill up my SUV with gas that's a dollar a gallon cheaper than it is here in Canada. Funny Eh? I can buy Canadian gas a dollar a gallon less in the USA than here. Should I thank Obama for that? Or bame that RWNJ Prime Minister of ours Harper????

Figure out who to lay off from the wife's business when the SHTF. I refuse to suffer financially from any of Obama's (or even if it was Romney's) tax grabs. You want to make me pay more money? It's not coming from my pocket.
