For all the post-election analysis, the only truly objective point of view is from outside the country. No one outside the U.S. is more greatly affected by yesterday than Israel, and today they are not holding back. Here's the best written, clearest analysis of the election I've read.
And why should the views of people who live in a foreign country (in this case Israel) take precedence over the views of American citizens? Aren't Republicans constantly telling us that Obama has sold out U.S. sovereignty because he cares more about foreigners than Americans? What makes Israel so special that in this case Republicans think that their desires should trump the views of Americas?

We have codified that little sandtrap for far too long. Our nation benefits nothing from the undeserved and unwarranted favoritism we grant Israel. Why doesnt Europe, which is closer get involved more instead of everything being our responsibility-now annoying.
