Not sure if you're serious. :yikes:

I have a feeling that you are confusing arranged marriages with forced marriages.

In any case, just allow CONSENTING ADULTS to marry whomever they want.

Error on the side of freedom.

I'd say it is important to distinguish polygamy, as such, from other issues like manipulation, abuse, lack of true consent, and so on. These things are not exclusive to polygamy; historically, monogamy, too, has been associated with non-consensual arrangements. The problem is not multiple marriage, per se, but certain attitudes (generally of religious origin) that lead to non-consensual relationships. If you really want to protect women and children, I'd suggest focusing on the attitudes (again, generally religious) that condone the idea that men should dominate women and children.

Try and start with monogamy first. Then you can move on to polygamy.

Polygamy is illegal so it's no surprise that it is commonly practiced by oppressive criminals.

Law I biding citizens aren't allowed.. yet.

Polygamy is unappealing to me, but I hold firm in my stance that consenting adults should be able to do as they please.
