The U.S. federal budget deficit for fiscal year 2007, the last budget before the Democratic Party took control of Congress, was about $161 billion, or 1.2% of GDP.

CBO has estimated that if the U.S. maintains a military presence in Iraq and if Congress doesn’t allow the tax cuts enacted in President George W. Bush’s first term to expire, then recent improvements in the deficit will be reversed, pushing it up to to roughly $300 billion by 2012.

...and then 0bama was elected, and even though we are not in Iraq, that foretasted deficit of $300 billion in 2012 turned into $1,000 billion, or 7% of GDP.

And before that he was a artist. I am just telling you what he ended up doing, and he ended up destroying labor unions. BMW, Merzedez, Siemens etc did very well when Hitler ramped up the defence spending, much like Halliburton.
