Hahahaha...hahahahahaha!!!!! What the hell do you expect him to say!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!
I was just reporting in on what I was seeing on TV, I didn't say I believe it, I said I'll take the General at his word but something just doesn't seem right. Not that should be surprising to me this week as nothing has seemed quite right this week!
Bengahzi was a CIA op that went wrong. Eventually the buck was going to land at his desk.
From what I here those in the CIA will not be terrible displease by this. He wasn't perceived as a that had a high degree of empathy or respect from the CIA rank and file.
So Petraeus an affair and chose to step down.
IMO, that should NOT relieve him of his responsibility to help the country get to the bottom of the Benghazi episode.
When the Benghazi attack happened he was informed but still went to a private screening of Argo. The State Dept and White House don't like how he handled Bengahzi.
Brett Baier said he just got off the phone with Petraeus and he said that Petraeus said this has nothing to do w/Benghazi and he will testify in the hearings and that he did have an affair. He also said the WH did not ask him to resign he requested it.
I will take the General at his word, even though I think something is weird.
I am taking him at his word as well just because I cannot imagine that he would cause his family this pain if it wasn't the actual reason for his resignation.
This happens all the time people. In this case being in the line of fire because of Benghazi was a not an optimal situation. Because of the Benghazi investigation the Affair would have come out most likely and he was getting infront of it.
"Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position," Petraeus said in a letter to CIA colleagues. "After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours."
Maybe as an Officer and a Gentleman with Integrity he did "just Resign"
Hmmmmmmmm. Since nobody seems to know where 0bama was.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Maybe but most likely his mistress or hell maybe a mister.
